Living room with original trims and panels and hardwood floors likely from 1908 or maybe 1925 (we were not around then). Beautiful period trim and baseboards throughout the room. Windows with laminated glass for sound control and safety. Built in hutch with leaded glass and easy pull our drawers ( we added heavy duty rollers for ease of use). On hot summer nights use screen door and open back door for a nice breeze ( usually).

Lots to like here: Liebher refrigerator, Viking Professional Gas Range with Range Hood, garbage disposal and Miele dishwasher. Two windows for morning light. The low-e coating seems to have turned a color but we preferred the laminated safety glass for exterior sound muting and safety. Custom tiling, stone counter tops, and solid wood cabinets. Lots of cabinet space for all your special kitchen tools, small appliances, dinnerware and pantry items. Well light with inset lights overhead and lights under cabinets.

Two closets in this front room. One very large. Smaller for visitors' coat closet. Alarm control is in this closet. Three windows for lots of light, hardwood floors, freshly painted.

Small but useful. Two laminated glass windows with deck and back yard view. We often used this for our pot lucks, we would put the food inside and use the back yard and deck for our party. Otherwise we had a small table for two or three that we would enlarge for guests.

Open to dining room below, could be used as a bedroom. There are three skylights with one large opening to yard below. Hardwood floor, ceiling lights, and lots of storage. Smartly designed room uses low point for storage around three sides of the room.

Floor tile with electric heat for those sometimes cold North Oakland mornings. Freshly painted and refinished tub with beautifully tiled tub walls and sink. Small but sufficient. Just off kitchen, dining room and deck.

Freshly stained flooring on large deck overlooking the back yard. Deck is just off the kitchen, convenient for breakfast mornings outside, parties, and just relaxing after using the redwood hot tub.

Relax anytime in the redwood hot tub left side of deck and gaze at your beautiful yard. The heater for the tub heats at an average of 20 degrees per hour and may be programmed to run each day at a specified time. Heater was professionally installed new in 2018 by Sullivan Waterworks.

Raised beds, plants, flowers, fruit trees, two lemon trees, one is Meyer lemon, Pipin apple ( delicious), Fuya persimmon, and Naval orange ( just beginning to produce). Automatic sprinkler system although some watering may be necessary.

Concrete floor recently painted. With laundry style sink, tankless water heater, washer and dryer, and access to back yard. Also half bath here.

1. Ready for solar panels and lines to the panels. We had solar panels on the roof but decided to install a new roof and did not replace panels, but much of the equipment is still there.

In 2009 electrical system was upgraded to 100% modernized system with proper circuiting, grounding, and over-current protection as per our electrical contractor. Upgrades: 1. 200 amp main service upgrade, bonding and grounding. 2. Repaired existing electrical system. 3. Added circuits to kitchen, lo-vo undercabinet lighting, etc. ALSO: Electric car charger accessible in driveway. Be sure to cover during rainy season. It is supposed to be weather proof but we always fit a clear plastic square container over it to shield from most of the rain.

Bolted in 1989, actually the installers were working there when the earthquake happened! Added shear wall where they suggested. We do not notice any sloped floors, good sign of strong foundation.

Ahh... to sit on the front porch and watch our neighbors bicycle, walk, jog, and lots of dogs! We experienced neighbors on this street to be friendly and helpful. Washing front porch: Do not over use water... too much may soak to wood underneath in basement. That was one section one pest co. scraped and coated or whatever they do. Steps were replaced fairly recently, within the last few years when we had the exterior painted. The wisteria is beautiful when blooming, we will miss this property, our home for many years with many back yard parties with many friends and relatives. If it were not for the fact that we decided to retire in Maui, we would not be selling!
